RULES OF WRITING SECTION
PARAGRAPH
- প্রথমে বিষয়টিকে সহজ ভাষায় মনে সাজিয়ে নিতে হবে।
- Paragraph-এর একটি উপযুক্ত Title বা শিরোনাম দিতে হবে যা Capital letter-এ লিখতে হবে।
- প্রথম বাক্যটি মূল বিষয়কে উল্লেখ করে লেখা উচিত।
- সহজ শব্দ ও সরল বাক্য ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
- প্রতিটি Hint-এর ওপর ভিত্তি করে ১-২টি বাক্য লিখতে হবে।
- একটি Concluding sentence বা সমাপ্তি বাক্য দিয়ে শেষ করতে হবে।
- বানান, যতি চিহ্ন এবং গ্রামারের দিকে বিশেষ নজর দিতে হবে।
STORY
- Hints গুলি ভালো করে পড়ে গল্পের প্লট তৈরি করে নিতে হবে।
- একটি উপযুক্ত Title দিতে হবে (Capital letters-এ)।
- Verb গুলি Past Tense-এ ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
- গল্পের শুরুতে 'Once upon a time' বা 'One day' ইত্যাদি ব্যবহার করা যেতে পারে।
- গল্পের শেষে প্রয়োজন হলে Moral দেওয়া যেতে পারে।
PROCESSING
- Title টি Capital letters-এ লিখতে হবে।
- প্রথমে ১-২টি বাক্যে গুরুত্ব বা ভূমিকা লিখতে হবে।
- Passive Voice ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
- Linkers যেমন At first, Then, Next, After that, Finally ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
REPORT
- একটি আকর্ষণীয় Title দিতে হবে (Capital letters-এ)।
- Title-এর নিচে 'By a Staff Reporter' বা নিজস্ব নাম লিখতে হবে।
- Place ও Date দিয়ে শুরু করতে হবে।
- Report টি Past Tense-এ লিখতে হবে।
NOTICE
- উপরে মাঝখানে 'NOTICE' শব্দটি বড় হাতে লিখতে হবে।
- তার নিচে বিষয় বা Subject লিখতে হবে।
- বামদিকে Ref. No. এবং ডানদিকে Date দিতে হবে।
- ভাষা সহজ ও সরল হতে হবে এবং অপ্রাসঙ্গিক তথ্য বর্জন করতে হবে।
- শেষে ডানদিকে নিজের নাম ও পদবী (Designation) এবং বামদিকে Countersigned by Headmaster লিখতে হবে (স্কুল নোটিশের ক্ষেত্রে)।

Krishnagar, Oct 29, 2017: The 150th birth anniversary of Sister Nibedita was observed to commemorate her life and works with great reverence at Krishnagar Collegiate School on 28th October this year.
The whole school building was beautifully decorated with flowers, festoons and banners bearing excerpts from Nibedita. A cultural programme was arranged to pay a glowing tribute to the great social worker. The solemn programme started with an opening song at 11:00 a.m. sharp with all seriousness. It was presided over by the revered Headmaster of the school and graced by the presence of an eminent poet, Mr. Joy Goswami. The cultural programme being over, the president in his speech dwelt on the various aspects and universal appeal of Nibedita's idealism. He told us that we need to inculcate the universal values of brotherhood, tolerance, peace, patriotism in our children. In his address to the students the chief guest emphasized on Sister Nibedita's relevance in the context of the present day situation. He called upon the students to re-evaluate her life and works and rekindle a deeper and wider interest in her. The programme ended with a vote of thanks to the chair. The programme had great impact on the students.

How a School Magazine is Published
School Magazine stimulates the dormant literary faculty of the students. It is very interesting to know how a school magazine is published. At first, articles on various subjects like essays, stories, poems, sketches are collected from students and teachers. Then the writings suitable for publication are edited by the editor with necessary additions, alterations and omissions. Then these are arranged systematically according to topics and sent to the press for printing. This being over, the press sends proofs for correction. After that these are sent for final printing. In this stage, the printing papers are cut into book form. Next books are bound. Finally the copies of school magazines are distributed among teachers, students and others for courtesy.

Mobile Phone has become a part and parcel in our daily life. It is a wonderful invention of modern science. We can communicate with our near and dear ones in no time through it. We can send messages, e-mail, pictures in a second. We can get many information with the help of google. Besides, its a storehouse of entertainment. It has dark sides too. Using mobile phone excessively can cause many diseases. Many people died due to talking to over cellphone while crossing the road or driving. Some fatal games like Blue Whale, Pokemon Go has taken lives of many young students. Due to the radiation of harmful rays, plants and animal life are badly affected. The students have now tremendous Fascination for the mobile instead of studying. As a result, they have been misguided. We should use mobile phones only in need. Then it will be proved to be a boon to us.

Salad is a nutritious and delicious food item. People think it as a digestive one. It is very interesting to know how salad is prepared. At first, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, mint leaves and chillies, lemon etc. are bought from the market. Then the cucumbers and onions are peeled. After that all the ingredients are cleaned well. Next cucumbers, onions, chillies, tomatoes are sliced according to desired sizes. In this stage, mint leaves are chopped. They are mixed. Then lemon juice is squeezed out. Now, salt and pepper are sprinkled. To enhance the taste salad oil is added. Finally all the items are tossed. Now salad is ready to be served.

Berhampore, Oct 12: In collaboration with Berhampore Police Station, Berhampore Explorer Club launched a 'Safe Drive, Save Life' campaign at Berhampore. All the club members, Police officials and local people were out in rallies on streets at 9 a.m. They urged everyone to maintain traffic rules. They tried to aware the people in different crossings of the streets. Roses and icecream were given to the riders without helmets to bring them back to their senses. Their activities were highly appreciated. At around 5 p.m. a seminar was held amidst the gracious presence of the officer-in-charge. He explained the functions of different signaling systems. This initiative had a great impact on everybody's mind.

Two Women and a child
Once there lived a woman with his only child. One day another lady stole the baby and claimed that it was her baby. As a result, they had a quarrel between them. Both of them were very strict to their claim. The real mother went to the court to get back her loving baby. The judge interrogated both of them but could not come to a conclusion. Then he ordered the baby to be cut into two parts, one for each of them. The fake mother did not react to this decision. But the real mother cried, "Let she have the baby. Let the baby live." The wise judge realised that a real mother could never allow her child to be cut. He ordered to give the child to the real mother. Once again truth won.
Moral: Truth always triumphs.

A Heart-rending Street Accident-Two Died

Plassey, May 7, 2018: A heart-rending street accident took place at Plassey on NH-34 at around 11 a.m. yesterday. An old lady with her grandson tried to cross the road without looking both sides well. Just then a Malda-bound bus was coming at a high speed. Sensing danger the driver applied brake but he could not stop the bus after knocking down both of them. Local people rushed to the spot and rescued them. They were immediately sent to the hospital but was declared dead. The agitated mob blocked the road and set the bus on fire. The driver and the helper of the bus fled away. The police came to the spot and brought the chaotic situation under control. Then the normal life restored again.

Government of West Bengal introduced a scheme, titled 'Sabuj Sathi' for distributions of bicycles to the students of class IX to XII in all government sponsored schools. The aim or objective of the scheme is to encourage students in higher education and to reduce dropouts. The beautiful project came to Mamata Banerjee's mind while she was on her way from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport. The Chief Minister has created a logo of a young boy running with two spinning bicycle wheels along side his legs. The scheme will offer benefit for both boy and girl students irrespective of their caste, religion or locality within the state of West Bengal. With the launch it is certain that the state government aims at improving the education system by offering green means of transportation for going to school. So far, forty lakh students have been benefitted by this scheme.

Once an English soldier was made captive by the enemy army. He was imprisoned. He underwent much suffering in the prison for some years. War ended. He was set free. He became plaintive. He instantly bought all the birds. He opened the cage and set the birds free one by one. The pretty birds flying out into the open sky filled him with joy. My visit to a place of Historical Interest
Everybody should visit some place of historical interest to enhance his/her knowledge. Keeping this view in my mind I paid a visit to Murshidabad accompanied by my parents during the last Puja vacation. We got into the train at 10 a.m. and reached Murshidabad at 1 p.m. We hired a horse-drawn carriage. At first, we paid a visit to 'Khosbag'. After that we saw 'Imambara' and 'Katra Mosque' respectively. Then we had our lunch. After taking a break we set out to visit 'Hazarduari'. It is a beautiful place to see. I saw the armoury, a magic mirror, the chariot of Siraj and many other historical relics. At last we visited 'Motijhil Park'. We enjoyed boat riding there. We came back home at 9 p.m. The memory of the excursion still remains fresh in my heart.
