মাধ্যমিক ২০২৬ ইংরেজি পরীক্ষার জন্য ব্যাকরণ (Grammar) ও শব্দভাণ্ডার (Vocabulary) অংশটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। এই বিভাগে আমরা চারটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেট (Set-1, 2, 3, ও 4) নিয়ে আলোচনা করেছি। সঠিক Verb form, Article ও Preposition, Do as directed (Voice Change, Narration Change, Transformation of sentences) এবং Phrasal Verb-এর সঠিক প্রয়োগ শেখার জন্য এই সেটগুলি অনুশীলন করা জরুরি। নিয়মিত অভ্যাসের মাধ্যমে ব্যাকরণের ভীতি দূর হবে এবং পরীক্ষায় নির্ভুল উত্তর দেওয়ার আত্মবিশ্বাস বাড়বে।

Grammar and Vocabulary form the backbone of the English language paper in Madhyamik 2026. In this section, we present four essential practice sets (Set-1, 2, 3, & 4). These sets cover key areas such as correct use of verb forms, articles and prepositions, various types of sentence transformations, and phrasal verbs. Regular practice of these sets will help students eliminate common errors, improve their grammatical accuracy, and boost their confidence to score high marks in the examination.

A. Write the correct alternative to fill in the blanks: [1×3=3]

- (i) Promises should be kept. (Change the voice) Ans. One should keep one's promises.
- (ii) "Let us go for a walk" said Sanjib to Soumen. (Change into Indirect Speech) Ans. Sanjib proposed to Soumen that they should go for a walk.
- (iii) I am proud of my mother. (Rewrite using noun form of 'proud') Ans. I take pride in my mother.
D. Choose the correct Phrasal Verbs from the list given below to replace the words underlined. Write the correct phrasal verbs in the boxes on the right-hand side changing the form where necessary. There is one extra Phrasal Verb in the list. [1×3=3]
