Barabati Stadium

Barabati Stadium is a cricket stadium located in Cuttack, Odisha, India. It has a seating capacity of 45,000 spectators and is named after the Barabati Fort, which is located nearby. The stadium has been the home ground of the Odisha cricket team in domestic cricket and has hosted several international cricket matches, including Tests, ODIs, and T20Is.


The Barabati Stadium has been the venue for several historic cricket moments, including India's first-ever win over England in a One-Day International (ODI) in 1982 and the famous tied ODI between India and Sri Lanka in 2014.


The stadium is equipped with modern facilities such as floodlights, a digital scoreboard, and a media center. It has also undergone renovations in the past to improve the seating arrangements and overall infrastructure. Apart from cricket, the Barabati Stadium has also hosted several other events, such as football matches and cultural events.
