My dear Rajesh,
Hope you are in a fine fettle. In your last letter you wanted to know about our festival of West Bengal. In this letter I am going to tell you about this.
Durga Puja is the grand festival of West Bengal. It is a festival of 4 days. Last year it look place from 23rd to 26 October. In this festival millions of people were involved. From simple devotees to the artists, decorators ,electricians, brahmins ,Dhakis, and the members of different Puja committees performed their best to make their endeavour a successful and presentable one. The centre of attraction was the idol of goddess Durga with her for children. The art and decoration of some of the pandals were seen to be believed.I enjoyed those 4 days to my heart's content with my friends. I hopped many pandals wearing new dresses. On the fourth day the idol was immersed and we took blessings from our elders. No more today. Convey my regards to your parents and love to you.
